Menopausal transition

I offer one-to-one therapy to support women through the menopause years, creating space to explore how this important stage of life may be affecting your wellbeing, relationships, and sense of self. Together, we can look at how changes during menopause connect with your roles in family, work, and society, and find new ways to understand and navigate these experiences as part of your life’s journey.

About Michelle

I’m an experienced therapist who cares deeply about supporting people through life’s challenges. My approach to counselling is integrative, which means I draw on a variety of methods to find what works best for each individual.

Before becoming a counsellor, I worked as a secondary school teacher, and I’ve also spent more than 10 years in Jungian personal analysis. These experiences, together with my perspective as a mother and grandmother, gave me a strong foundation for understanding both adolescents and adults, and the unique challenges that can arise at different stages of life. In my work, I use approaches such as person-centred therapy, mindfulness, Jung teachings and other evidence-based practices. But most importantly, I tailor each session to the needs and goals of the person in front of me.

Clients often tell me they feel safe and understood with me, which is something I value deeply. I strive to create a warm, non-judgemental space where individuals and families feel supported, so together we can work on building resilience, finding practical strategies, and creating meaningful change.

I’m a fully qualified and registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), I hold a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne. I have facilitated Breathwork groups and I’m also an accredited Lifeline Crisis Supporter.
